Headquartered in the municipality of Farroupilha, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, USAF has been operating in the fastener market since 1995, beginning its activities with the manufacture of fastening components for the construction industry.
Over the years, the company has followed a continuous path of improvement and refinement of its products. Through ongoing investments in infrastructure, professional development, and new technologies, USAF has become recognized as one of Brazil’s leading manufacturers of fastening products.
The company continues to refine its solutions and processes, serving an increasingly demanding market while prioritizing agile and qualified customer service. With increasingly specialized products and well-defined processes, USAF is currently pursuing ISO 9001 certification and expanding its presence in the international market.
Founded by Antonio Postingher, USAF began its operations on the ground floor of his residence.
Relocation to a 250 m² industrial facility and expansion of sales across the three southern states of Brazil.
Expansion of the built area to 1,200 m². By that year, USAF was already supplying the country’s leading distributors, with clients across all regions of Brazil and Mercosur.
Professionalization of internal departments and expansion of the company’s workforce. In the same year, the physical structure doubled in size, with a 2,500 m² manufacturing facility, along with the acquisition of new injection molding machines.
USAF now has more than 50 representatives, expands its sales team, and increases its production capacity. The company adds new products to its portfolio, expands its manufacturing area to 3,200 m² and opens a retail store adjacent to the factory.
Beginning of USAF's internationalization process. Implementation of a commercial methodology for client prospecting and service, segmented by economic sector. Expansion of the internal sales team.
Start-up of a new in-house raw material extrusion plant, further enhancing product quality, with a production capacity of 400 tons of raw material per month. Increased production capacity by 30%, generating a monthly output of approximately 180 tons of injection-molded products. Sales expansion in Latin America and start of the ISO 9001 certification process.
